MUNICH OCTOBERFEST Sunday, 25 September 2011 |

Once again the German-American Men’s Club Munich spend a pleasurable Sunday afternoon at the Munich Octoberfest. In the fivth year running we were able to reserve a private box at the Hacker festival tent which had room for 50 persons. The event was booked out in no time and our members came either single or accompanied by their wives as well as some guests in traditional Bavarian costumes. We spent an enjoyable afternoon in each other’s company and the convivial atmosphere was only enhanced by the crispy chicken and the outstanding “Wies’n” beer. We raise our mugs and look forward to the Octoberfest 2012 when we will continue the tradition of the annual visit to the Wiesn. |
